Dental veneers (commonly referred to as porcelain veneers) are wafer thin shells of porcelain which are bonded onto the front surface of your tooth to create a cosmetic enhancement. We use them regularly as a way to change teeth which are discoloured, worn, chipped or crooked. The life expectancy of a dental veneer is between 5-12 years, depending on the stress of environmental factors such as chewing, biting, grinding or trauma. Find out more about teeth veneers here. "I have only praise for Dr. Matt and his team. They worked miracles...Perhaps it is because it has been cleverly done that I am getting lots of comments on how well I am looking, but perhaps it is because I have learnt to smile openly again".
