Hi I'm Dr. Priya Bhundoo. I graduated from the Dental School at the University of Otago in 2009. It's been very exciting working at Accent Dental Solutions with Matt and the team. Accent's unwavering commitment to excellence in dental care alongside its warm and friendly environment is what attracted me to work here.
To me, the fundamental basis of the patient-dentist relationship is Trust. My patients come to me knowing their concerns are always prioritized and they are provided with options so that a shared decision on their treatment is made. My main aim is to enable my patients to make an informed decision on their dental health whilst upholding strict ethics.
On a first appointment I will spend about an hour getting to know you and understanding your wishes. I will then help you through the decision process of your treatment needs and give you the options around your treatment. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry; however, I most particularly enjoy Cosmetic Dentistry, endodontics (root canal work) and Children's Dentistry.
It is very exciting to work in Ponsonby, as it is always vibrant and the people here are very warm. Dentistry is my passion. Outside of work I enjoy rock climbing, wild water rafting and cooking. I also have recently moved to Auckland and so I am eager to discover what this beautiful city has to offer.
